International Activities
While it is often important to have a local presence, technology has destroyed the concept of regional offices based on territorial boundaries. We no longer think of our market as being in specific countries around the world - instead, the way we work is as a multilingual and multicultural organization with representation in key locations to service our various markets as efficiently as possible.
Currently, the APM Group offer examinations in up to nine languages (including all three 'working languages' as recommended by the United Nations) in over 50 countries, through a network of training and consulting companies with hundreds of trainers and consultants worldwide. These Accredited Organizations also manage a large network of Affiliates.
There are no geographical or logistical constraints on organizations becoming accredited or on examinations being taken. We have been instrumental in helping companies become established as Accredited Organizations throughout the world.
For a new market we will support the early adopters in that country with subsidised accreditation and examination fees. Once we establish a thriving market, we seek local examiners and assessors to act under contract to us, and from these beginnings we evolve into a more formal office and representation.
As such, our international activities are centred on a professional partner helping us to provide the service in the appropriate language and in accordance with the culture of the relevant country.
Through our Accredited Training Organizations, our Affiliate network and our arrangements with the British Council, we have held examinations in the following countries (highlighted in blue):
