As a key member of our Ethics and Standards Board, you'll ensure we act professionally in everything we do. This is an important role which offers intellectual challenge. Role Summary
To act as a part of an impartial body to oversee APMG's certification activities, so as to provide confidence in the impartiality and integrity to all significantly concerned parties.

Responsibilities

  • Act as part of a Board to provide independent and impartial advice on governance in relation to the Company's operations.
  • Investigate any issues or concerns brought to the Board's attention.
  • Pro-actively examine and scrutinise the APMG's present and future policies, markets and operations to ensure the impartiality of all involved in certification processes and the integrity of examinations and assessments.
  • Available to attend Ethics Board meetings at least twice a year.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least five years experience in business, relating to at least one of the major groups concerned with APMG's certification activities, and with no conflict of interest.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Understanding of the relevant standards (EN 45011, ISO 17024 and ISO 17021) and quality policy.
