As a certification and qualification body, we set, enforce, maintain and improve standards. So, naturally, we seek performance through quality criteria in all that we do. As well as our own world-class internal quality assurance processes, we have three other powerful mechanisms to ensure that high standards are maintained.
To provide complete assurance to end-users, the APM Group obtained external verification of our processes through direct accreditation as a certification body by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). UKAS is the only national accreditation body recognised by the UK government to assess organisations providing certification services. The APM Group obtained UKAS accreditation in December 2000.
Recognition by UKAS means that we have been judged against internationally recognised standards (EN45011 and ISO/IEC17024) that demonstrate the competence, impartiality and performance capability of our assessment processes. UKAS audits the APM Group annually, to ensure that our processes are fully in accordance with these standards.
Assessment by UKAS, and the insights into our business that this gives us, ensures that we fully embrace all opportunities to learn and improve the way we work. We believe that this supplements the professionalism and expertise that we have developed over the years.
The APM Group Limited are accredited by UKAS as a Certification Body against the standards mentioned above, and entitled to use these UKAS certification marks.
UKAS Registration Number: 126.

The APM Group are one of the very few smaller organisations in the UK with their own independent Ethics Board. Find out more about the Ethics & Standards Board here.
The third quality assurance mechanism is our accredited communities of training and consulting organisations.
Because we believe passionately in continual improvement, we regularly invite our accredited communities to 'away days'. These provide an opportunity for frank and open exchanges of information and views. We have won real appreciation for our willingness to not only accept criticism, but to act on it as quickly as possible.
